Mike and I went fishing today at Fish Lake (aptly named, huh?) near Leavenworth. We caught a bunch of small trout, including my 3″ rainbow that I snagged in the tail (nice!). While we were eating lunch and contemplating going home after about 5 hours of fishing, Mike caught a 4 lb. 11 oz. rainbow trout on his fly rod with a single barbless hook. Biggest damn trout I’ve ever seen! Definitely made it worth getting up at 4:30 am to go fishing.
