This is it, the last day of vacation. Actually even the last few minutes before we head off to sleep and then go back to the real world and work tomorrow. We had a nice relaxed day back at home today. Mike picked up the dogs about 8:30 and then we went out to breakfast at our favorite diner. We packed a picnic lunch and loaded up Jake and Sam and our fishing rods and headed to the lake for an afternoon on the water.

We managed to successfully, and easily, launch the boat and head out. We didn’t end up doing much fishing as it was a bit too windy. Instead we toured the lake, went for a high speed spin, enjoyed our lunch and then headed home. We wrapped up the night with a lazy evening and dinner.
