Now what do we eat?
Oct 5th, 2007 by Laura
Just kidding. There are a lot of things to eat this time of year, they’re just a bit harder to find because all of the farmer’s markets are closing down for winter. The Snohomish, Everett and Mukilteo markets are closed for the season, and this is the last weekend for the Edmonds market. So I’m going to have to expand my horizons. As I’m sure I’m not the only one looking for new sources, I thought I’d offer up a list of markets open going into winter and year-round.
If you’re in Snohomish County, you’ll have to range a little farther for the winter. But you’re still well within reasonable distance if you’re willing to shop for a week at a time.

The Marshland Produce Market aka Flower World is actually really nice, has quite a lot of local produce and they have pretty good prices too. They have really good looking and varied chicken eggs. When I last stopped by there and bought a dozen there were some white, some brown, some green, all different sizes. Pretty fun!
