Inside the blogger’s mind: 10 questions

I was watching Inside the Actor’s Studio the other day - I lurve that show - and I realized that James Lipton’s closing would make a great blog topic. And yes, I know that the questions really came from Bernard Pivot (thank you wikipedia). There are some great writers, thinkers, eaters and farmers blogging out there. Are you one of them? If so, perhaps you’d like to play along?

Here are the rules:
1. If you decide to answer, please leave a comment with a link to your blog.
2.
You have to post these rules before you answer the questions.

1. What is your favorite word?
Excellent.

2. What is your least favorite word?
Almost.

3. What turns you on [creatively, spiritually or emotionally]?
People that are passionate about what they do or believe, even if I don’t agree with them.

4. What turns you off?
Unnecessary waste. Really, you have to use 6 plastic bags to send me home with 5 things?

5. What sound or noise do you love?
My husband singing. He has a song for everything.

6. What sound or noise do you hate?
Cats fighting. It’s like fingernails on a chalkboard, only worse. Plus, this sound often costs me $ in the form of vet bills.

7. What is your favorite curse word?
F*#k in all of it’s forms. It’s so versatile and flexible.

8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
Sustainable farmer of poultry, pigs and cattle. With a kitchen garden just for me.

9. What profession would you not like to do?
Roofer - I’m afraid of heights.

10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
You might not have believed, but you lived the good life. Come on in.

  • Fun idea! I’ve been reading for some time, but this is my first comment. I love the blog and am envious - I want hens of my own!

  • I will be borrowing this meme for a post this weekend. Getting a little desperate for material as NABLOPOMO progresses. Thank goodness for the DDELC since I can get a post out of what I had for dinner.
