The “rules” remain the same. The only real changes are:
1. Please be sure that your posts include “Dark Days” in the title and for the tag so that we can find them.
2. We’ll only be recapping every 2 weeks. I’ll do the first one this Sunday, then we’ll go every two weeks after that. So, first guest recaps will be posted on Sunday, January 27. I’d like to nominate Nicole (East), Melinda (West) and Anne (Middle) as writers for the first guest post as they were the first to volunteer. I’ll send you the details for posting via email.

Thank you!!! I need the inspiration. Is “DarkDaysWinterChallenge” an ok label? It’s what I’ve used but I’ll gladly change it to “Dark Days” if necessary.
Back to my turnips…….
Ellen - your tag is just fine, just needs to somehow identify them to make them easy to find.
Wahoo!!
Happy to help! Looking forward to your instructions!
Yay! Glad to be back aboard.
I do think this kind of thing is very inspiring—to see what people can make when nothing is really growing. Kudos to you for the great idea and for having the energy to carry it through!
I need the encouragement to not get in a rut or just stop going to the market when it gets cold so if it is OK I would like to continue with the challenge as well. I have been using the post title DDELC (Dark Days Eat Local Challenge) [in the category ELC] shall I expand it or is the accronym Ok?
Okie dokey, there’s a Dark Days post up (and another before it that keeps me bothering to try all this).

Hi! Your email got caught in my spam filter - eek. I just found it. I’m changing my last two recipe posts to have “Dark Days Challenge” in the headlines and the labels. Glad this is going to continue, I’m having a lot of fun already!
