Ah, always nice to see a fellow dog-lover (or dog spoiler?). What a sweetie Jake looks to be. Molly (our Newfoundland) is even bigger. But, fortunately, she does not view herself as a lapdog - just views herself as another person. There are worse ways to be greeted when you get home in the evening!

Your dog is so cute and reminds me of my own, much smaller black lab, who also thinks she is a lap dog.

Great pictures! Jake is so cute. He reminds me of one of my childhood dogs, Caesar, an equally large yellow lab. Caesar also thought he was a lap dog, but he eventually learned he was big enough to back in and sit next to you on the couch, front feet on the floor. Sometimes he'd climb up on the footstool and turn around and sit in your lap, front feet still on the stool.
