My mom (hi mom!) made me these most excellent slippers for Christmas. I just got them a couple weeks ago (my family is casual that way) and they are SO WARM. It’s like wearing your warmest wool sweater on your feet. I own a very fancy pair of boiled wool slippers as well, not nearly as comfy or warm as these.

And of course the soles of them are my favorite color ever. Sam thinks they’re pretty nice too.

Of course now I feel badly that the mittens I finished knitting for my mom 6 weeks ago are still sitting on my desk. I finished them, then my folks were in Montana, then they accidentally got packed in a box when we were cleaning out the house. I finally found them before I left for Orlando, but keep forgetting to mail them. Hopefully my mom is reading this and knows that I really do love her!
