Snow everywhere we look

but no way to ski on it. The past few years have brought less than stellar skiing to the Seattle area. So this year we were all excited by forecasts that it would be a banner year for snow fall. And it has been. Unfortunately mother nature seems to only have off and high volume this year. Which means that while a metric s*^tload of snow has again fallen this week, there’s no way to get to it.

They managed to get Snoqualmie open early this morning, but now it’s raining up there so it kinda defeats the purpose as far as skiing goes. You know?
From the description in that article it seems that it’ll be a minor miracle if they get Stevens Pass, White Pass or the Mt. Baker Highway open today. Oh well, guess we’ll just have to stay home an pack…
We’re getting a lot of snow here, too! Must be a year for it all over the PNW.
By the way, congratulations on your house! I’m so envious! It looks like a wonderful place to move, just the perfect size. I hope you and your crew are very happy there.
