Lest you’re someone that doesn’t have more than one dog and you think puppy piles end with puppyhood, let this serve as your enlightenment. Around here both dogs have their own beds. And Jake is pretty much allowed to sleep on the leather couch because he can get up there (Sam can’t make the jump anymore). But most nights they end up piled up together at one time or another.
There must be something warm and comforting about cuddling up with your best friend and taking a nap. I managed to sneak into the living room this morning wrapped in a towel and snap this picture before Jake woke up and gave me my morning maul.
