Gosh! You remind me so much of me and my hubby getting so much done right after we moved in last fall. We were unpacked just a week or so after we moved in...which is crazy now that I think back on it all. BUt hubby had got this bright idea to host an Open House (and surprise me) with many of our friends and family, and een flew in some of my best friends and some family, too. But the party was just 3 weeks after we moved in! ack.

BUt I'm grateful now, because if I wouldn't have had that 'fire under my butt' I'd still have full boxes left to unpack! hehe

By the way, love that John Deere! We just bought a new one last week. Hubby and the kids are having a blast with it. It's good to see a John Deere actually put to work, since right now ours is just used for tractor rides for the kids! hehe

Love those little chickies. I can't remember if you posted before, but what breeds did you end up getting this time? They have grown fast. I'm envious that you have a barn with enclosed stalls to keep them in, though. We had to keep our chicks in our garage for several months, because our barn is way up a hill and not totally enclosed. It took us several months to complete the chicken house because of the cold weather, wind and snow that kept getting in the way. Gosh! I'm glad we're over that part now!

Can't wait to read more updates on your blog!

Wow, gorgeous kitchen, and lots of great stuff going on. Love the new chicks, too. And all unpacked already! I wish I could say that my boxes were all unpacked --and I've lived here for 7 years!

Give yourself a break and don't go to crazy on the veggie garden, you will have lots of time in the future, and you have lots to do!

Hey! Maybe you could talk to your mom and the aunts and uncles about Grandpa's full size feeders. I think they are still around the barn somewhere?!

Great pic's of the current activities. Keep them coming!!

WOW! You all have been busy! You do realize, of course, that I'm just taking notes during all of this to see what works and what doesn't work so well. That way when we make our big move in a few years we'll have let you do all the experimenting!! LOL If only it were that easy, huh?

As always, I'm jealous. You're livin' the dream and doin' one heck of a good job of it from the looks of things.

CONGRATS!!
talk to you soon...
