We also waited to name our chickens until they were all feathered out and living outside. Of course part of that reason was because we couldn't tell them apart when they were so little!</description>

		<description>Whatever he/she is, sure is adorable! Might be rooster because of getting comb growth so early, though.

I don't know my chickens either, until the feather out and show their true colors, patterns and personalities......until then they are all called 'chickies'! hehe</description>

		<description>Very Cute, I love the fuzzy little toes. We just went and got outselves 6 more today; Brown Leghorns. This weekend I'm building the coop for the big chooks. I agree with you too, the roosters certainly do seem to carry themselves like they rule the roost.

		<description>at least you don't have to worry about neighbors turning you in for having an illegal rooster in the city!  You can have a whole chorus crowing in the morning and it would be just fine.</description>

		<description>Very cute indeed. When I was little, back in the late fifitie, my grandfather used to have some hens in his bakcyard. I remember being captivated by the tiny chicks, I also gave them names. Fun memories!</description>
