Dead Cow Grazing
Apr 27th, 2008 by Laura
For more than a month, every time I’ve driven down the road between here and the town to the north I’ve seen a dead cow in the same pasture in the same place. It was a black and white dairy cow. I saw her standing once when we first moved in, then the next time I drove by she was dead.
We drove by her both Friday and yesterday on our way back and forth to the farm store for fence supplies. There she was, dead in a field all by herself.
Today, we drove by and saw this:
Turns out she just likes to nap in the same place on a daily basis. Dead dairy cow, resurrected.
LOL!!
Wow! A lazy cow is so much better than a dead one.
Unless she’s a zombie cow. Must have more brains!
Laura!
I ’bout fell out of my chair laughing after I read this! Thanks for a terrific Monday chuckle!!

Night of the living dairy??? I’m seeing a MOOOOvie deal here… Cow-Zombies From Outer Space! Okay… I’ll stop now… LOL
That made me laugh! When I first started reading, I said “oh no”!!!…glad the cow is ok!
Ah, the adventures of country life!
I couldn’t stop giggling the whole rest of the drive home and was still doing it when I wrote the post. Glad others found it just as funny!
I had to read this one to the cute guy. Thanks for the good laugh.
