I'm so jealous! We haven't stepped foot in the garden yet - can't get enough dry days in a row :(

Laura,
I am hearing a prediction of 85 for Friday! Yikes! I hope my seedlings don't scorch into cinders. On the other hand, my rhododendrons are blooming bigger and better than ever this year. I wonder if it has to do with the longer and colder than normal winter we had. Happy planting.

Grandpa would be proud of you!!! You're planning, and planting remind me of his being very busy this time of the year.

I remember seed catalogs, and seed catalogs, and more catalogs. He ordered a lot of his stuff by mail, and it was amazing to watch him work...

Your uncle Bruce his planting right now at Grandpa's place. He has finished roto tilling, and planted onions yesterday. Amazing how far ahead of us you are.....

Can't wait to see pic's of the garden as it grows.

Today is mother's day.....Call you mom!!! I'm sure you already have.

Love

Our broccoli went all tall and leggy on us too... what the heck is happening there?? It grew TALL then sprouted some tiny heads that started to flower so we picked 'em and ate 'em! LOL Did you just start over from scratch?

And what's this rotation thing?? I've never quite gotten the hang of it but we're making a run of it this year. I'll watch yours and see how it goes then follow suit. HA!

I've been putting my broccoli rabe thinnings in salads too. They add such a nice zing.
