Hey Lori - nice to meet you!
Turns out my casualty is making a comeback. It started raining last night and this morning it was standing about 70% of the way up. We'll see if it can keep it up or not.

I had to laugh when I saw your first garden casualty of the year - mine also happened yesterday in a soaker hose incident, and now I have one less bush bean plant in my garden...

I've been lurking in the background for a while, but thought I'd pipe up and let you know that I have been enjoying your blog over the past couple of months. You tend to write about things I'm interested in doing or am just starting to do myself, and it's great to get another perspective on things. Plus it's fun to see pictures of Melinda and Matt (my sister and brother-in-law) pop up here and there. At any rate, keep up the good work!
