A Window of My Own
May 28th, 2008 by Laura
I’m not feeling very interesting or inspired tonight. But as I was sitting in my favorite seat in the house talking to colleagues in Singapore, I thought perhaps you’d like to know what I see?
The seat is the new couch in our living room, it rests just below the front window which looks out across the porch to the driveway, the yard in front of the barn and the veggie garden. This is what I see from my seat.
The hummingbird feeder, driveway and garden in the distance.

A cropped, somewhat zoomed in view of the garden. In the front are young apple and pear trees and our only section of white fence.
The lilac that got a bit of frostbite when it was first budding out - needs a hard prune once it’s done blooming.

A wild untamed creature known as Mike for short.

The sofa table that has played nursemaid to most of my starts at one time or another - currently home to peppers, basil and dill. The only main room that hasn’t gotten paint yet.

Stay tuned for garden photos tomorrow. Thought I’d snap a few while I put up the rest of the pea trellis and the cucumber trellis.
Delightful views.
