This head of broccoli is the rock star of the garden right now. It’s the furthest along of the seven biggest plants – the rest have heads smaller than a quarter. I’m getting very impatient to harvest it, but I know that the longer we wait the bigger it will get…

So beautiful!
We also have one lone broccoli plant, about that size. Sadly, I don’t think ours is getting any bigger – just taller and closer to bolting. Beautiful photos!
I love how the water beads up on the broccoli leaves, like little crystals sitting there. My plant has just started growing a little broccoli head, about the size of a silver dollar thus far.
Thanks Jennifer.
Denise – ours seems to be still growing, but the raab has long since bolted.
RuralAspirations – that’s my favorite part of the photos too. The way the water sits on the broccoli is very cool. The rest of my plants are about that size, not sure how this one got so far ahead.
