Melinda has up a great post about going out and meeting your local bloggers. I think she’s right, that forming community offline as well as on can only be a good thing.
She and I have discussed the idea of a local food blogger get together before and it sounds like she’s ready to get the plan off the ground. I’ve volunteered to help her.
First step is to figure out who we know that’s a “local” PNW blogger. I know quite a few of you actually, through comments and challenges. But what I don’t know is are you interested in meeting other local bloggers?
If you are, leave a note in the comments or send me an email at urbanhennery at gmail dot com with the following.
1. Your location (Puget Sound Region or greater PNW)
2. Your email address and blog
3. Your preferred month – July or August
Or better yet, swing by Melinda’s post and leave a note there. Once we’ve got a plan we’ll send you an email and get your input.

We did leave a message on Melinda’s blog but we’re so excited about this that we want to cover all of our bases! LOL
There is only one really bad weekend for us in July (12 and 13), and one in August (23 and 24). Other than that, we’re in good shape for scheduling.
