Have you ever looked around and realized that you might be addicted to your laptop? I just had that moment.
My dad is here visiting for the next few days. We spent the day priming and painting the hen shack (which looks so nice now that it might have to be renamed to the hen house, photos soon…). Then he rototilled the clover overgrown onion row for me so that I can plant winter brassica starts tomorrow night. I stood and directed. 
Nothing like putting visiting family to work, huh?
Now we’re relaxing with a glass of wine and some snacks. Both sitting here at the dining room table with our laptops open sharing things back and forth. He’s trying to figure out how to recover music from his i-pod that he accidentally deleted the other day. I’m catching up on other people’s blogs and laughing at last night’s Sarah Palin / Hillary Clinton sketch.
Think we might both be computer geeks of some sort? Oh well, at least neither of us is offended by the other’s need to check email before moving on to take a shower and clean up…
Sounds familiar, Laura. Last time our kids were both home, I looked up at one point and the three of us were all sitting in the living room looking at our laptop screens. And my husband was using his in his office! Boy, a whole family of computer geeks! How great that your father can come and do all those things to help out.
