I’m personally very excited, not least because I’m kicking off the challenge with my first visit to San Francisco, ever! Anita and Cameron are kindly putting me up, and showing me around!, this weekend before I head to Sacramento for work. I can hardly wait for dinner at Range, wandering the Ferry Plaza market, and generally seeing a bit of the city both by street car and foot!

yay, we’re so excited about your visit!
I just tipped your participant scale to 34. sorry
and I’m excited for it! Now I can more fully indulge my desires to purchase every pretty squash I see.
Have a great trip to San Francisco! The eating there last month was just incredible.
I thought that I signed up for this challenge, but did not see my name listed.
Lots of good things:
Our chicken coop has been FINALLY approved! Although the design is a little smaller than what we really wanted.
Peppers on the vines, peas are starting to blossom, carrots are tiny (but taste wonderful!)–all inside the house!
Thank you so much for your encouragement to get us through this time–We eat better now than when I had a fulltime job!!
Oooh, have fun in San Francisco! It’s a marvelous city.
Anita – me too! it was so much fun!
Mia – glad to have you, enjoy your squash
Audrey – I just ate my own weight on my trip – you weren’t kidding.
Monica – I’ve got you on the list now. Congrats on the chicken coop!
Kimberly – it really was marvelous.
Excited to see how it goes. If it were a different year I would participate, but I have a few surprises up my sleeve this winter that will draw my focus elsewhere. Good luck and good eating!
