We spent most of today outside getting stuff done. Stuff included moving the rest of the plants displaced by the fence/driveway project (details later), sweeping the porch, pulling out the now defunct (and smelly) Brussels Sprouts, setting fence rails and getting the first of the onion seeds into the flat.
We took a late afternoon break for a cola and a snack. I recently discovered these locally roasted (and sometimes grown) peanuts that are oh so good. Mike and I sat on the porch steps and tried to convince Jake that they weren’t for dogs. He didn’t believe us…
“Hey, that’s for me, right? Sure does smell good…”

“Wait! No really, those are mine aren’t they!”

You take excellent pictures, but these are just nuts…
Cute pics! Don’t you just love to watch their eyes when they are waiting for a scrap!
My dogs go nuts for peanuts! I bring them to obedience class and pull out the bag after they’re tired of all their “regular” treats.
I never knew dogs loved peanuts, wow. Looking forward to heating more about the project….
