Now this is the kind of thing we like to find sitting on our porch when we get home.
Cherries, fresh from the neighbors’ trees. Waiting for us to dig in and enjoy. And an offer of more! Now we just have to decide what to do with them (aside from eating them by the handful…).

Now those are some awesome neighbors.
Wow, although I am sure the generosity goes both ways that certainly is a lovely surprise to come home to.
Kind Regards
Belinda
So thoughtful, what generous neighbors! I’d dive in for fresh cherry handfuls, and then consider making cherry cobbler/crisp…
Oh my! VERY kind neighbors…do they sell them too?
I want neighbors like that!
Oh, I’ve been dreaming of cherries for days! I’ve got a new cherry pitter set up and everything… I’m thinking cherry jelly, cherry preserves, cherry syrup… My Grammy told me years ago of the cherry preserves her Grandma made – the memory of it made her smile.
What a wonderful gift you’ve been given!
Oh, yum. What wonderful neighbors! If you want to make preserves, I have a scrumptious recipe for cherries in almond syrup… great on waffles and on ice cream.
Now that’s some nice neighbors! DH came home yesterday with 2 watermelons and 1 cantaloupe from his buddy’s parent’s garden. I can’t wait to try the watermelon as I haven’t had any yet this year. I’ll probably send some fresh yard eggs back their way next week.
It doesn’t get better than that!
